How is type one caused?
No-body really knows the exact cause for Type one diabetes, but in most people T1D is caused as the body’s immune system (which fights away viruses) makes a mistake and destroys the insulin cells in the pancreas (which is located behind the stomach) therefore the person cannot produce insulin and cannot let the glucose go into cells all around are body so it sits in the blood, this is what’s called type one diabetes.
What’s the treatment?
Unfortunately, there is not known cure for type one diabetes, yet, however there is treatment for Type one diabetes, people with T1D will either inject insulin or use a piece of technology called an Insulin pump into their body, if a Type one diabetic doesn’t have the correct insulin this can cause Hypoglycemias or Hyperglycemia which are both very dangerous.
What’s the symptoms?
Type one diabetes can come at anytime to anyone but you can try and get T1D treated before it gets worse, here are a few early symptoms to type one diabetes.
- Increased Thirst
- Frequent urination
- Extreme hunger
- Blurred Vision
- Fatigue and weakness
- Mood changes (angry)
- Sudden weight-loss
These are the common symptoms, some times it won’t be all of these symptoms it may only just Be a few or it could be all of them, but if your getting these symptoms tell someone and go to the doctors/hospital.
